Everything Bagel Deviled Eggs (Print Version)

Creamy deviled yolks blended with cream cheese and chives, topped with everything bagel seasoning for a zesty bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Eggs

01 - 6 large eggs

→ Filling

02 - 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
04 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
05 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
06 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Topping

08 - 1 1/2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
09 - Extra chopped chives, for garnish (optional)

# How To Make:

01 - Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with cold water by about 1 inch. Bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat; once boiling, remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 10 minutes.
02 - Drain hot water and transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water; cool for about 5 minutes. Tap and peel shells carefully, rinsing as needed to remove fragments.
03 - Slice each egg lengthwise and remove yolks into a bowl. Arrange the halved whites on a serving platter, keeping cavities intact.
04 - Mash yolks with a fork until crumbly. Add softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice and chopped chives; mix until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
05 - Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the egg white cavities, distributing evenly among the 12 halves.
06 - Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over each filled half and garnish with additional chives if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate until needed.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • You’ll feel like you’re biting into your favorite bagel shop treat but without the heavy carbs.
  • The creamy filling has a secret tang from cream cheese that somehow makes the eggs taste richer and brighten a brunch spread.
02 -
  • If you rush peeling, the whites can rip—patience pays off with prettier halves.
  • Letting the cream cheese fully soften prevents those stubborn lumps that never blend out.
03 -
  • Older eggs peel far easier than fresh ones, so plan ahead or use that stray dozen at the back of the fridge.
  • Piping the filling looks impressive but using a small spoon gets the job done with less fuss—choose what makes you happiest.
