01 - 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

# How To Make:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and blanch for 2 to 3 minutes until bright green and just tender. Drain and transfer immediately to a bowl of ice water to halt cooking. Drain well and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, toast sliced almonds, stirring frequently, until golden brown and fragrant, approximately 2 minutes. Remove almonds and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, heat olive oil and add sliced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
04 - Add drained green beans to the skillet. Sauté, stirring frequently, for 3 to 4 minutes until heated through and slightly crisp-tender.
05 - Season with sea salt, black pepper, and optional lemon juice. Toss thoroughly to combine flavors.
06 - Sprinkle toasted almonds over green beans and serve immediately.
